Glasgow Conference

We were pleased to meet many of you in Scotland at our Glasgow conference October 23rd. On behalf of Greg Anderson and the Cancer Recovery Foundation - UK team we would like to express our thanks for your continued support of our work helping adults, children and families in Scotland. In 2009 we will be providing more funding and more support to more hospitals and hospice’s in Scotland, working with businesses and other organisations to help people with cancer and families suffering through this difficult time. We hope you enjoy the photographs taken during the conference held at the prestigious Glasgow City Chambers on 23rd October 2008 and we look forward to meeting more of you in 2009.

Speakers at the CRF-UK Glasgow Conference
We were privileged to have first class speakers including Greg Anderson, our Founder and CEO, who is a world renowned authority on ` Wellness`, and himself a cancer survivor. Grand national winning jockey Bob Champion also addressed an audience of people living with cancer and cancer professionals at the CRF-UK conference. Following a cancer diagnosis in 1979, he achieved his goal of winning the Grand National in 1981 riding Aldaniti. A positive attitude and setting of goals were stated as being a key part to recovery from cancer.
