Scottish High Tea
We were pleased to meet many of you in Scotland for Afternoon Tea at the Millennium Hotel in Glasgow on October 22nd. It was an enjoyable afternoon. On behalf of Greg Anderson and the Cancer Recovery Foundation - UK team we would like to express our thanks for your continued support of our work helping adults, children and their families living with cancer in Scotland. In 2009 we will be providing more funding and more support to more hospitals and hospice’s in Scotland, working with businesses and other organisations to help people with cancer and families suffering through this difficult time. We hope you enjoy the photographs taken during High Tea and at the conference and we look forward to meeting more of you in 2009.

| Speakers at the CRF-UK Glasgow Conference We were privileged to have first class speakers including Greg Anderson, our Founder and CEO, who is a world renowned authority on `Wellness`, and himself a cancer survivor. Grand national winning jockey Bob Champion also addressed an audience of people living with cancer and cancer professionals at the CRF-UK conference. Following a cancer diagnosis in 1979, he achieved his goal of winning the Grand National in 1981 riding Aldaniti. A positive attitude and setting of goals were considered to be a key part of recovery from cancer. The conference was opened by James Coleman and chaired by Jim Moulson (Rotary President Elect 2010). Pictured are from right; Jim Moulson (chair), and speakers; Greg Anderson (CEO CRF), Bob Champion MBE, Dr Anna Cambell and Dr Caroline Longmore. |
